He is a founding team member of MDEC GAIN program established in 2015 to focus on globalizing high-growth Malaysian tech companies. Previously in MDEC he was Head of Outsourcing in the Shared Services & Outsourcing Cluster. He has extensive experience in engaging founder CEOs of tech companies to address key challenges in their growth journey.
Prior to MDEC, he has worked in various operating environments - commercial and government-linked sectors and industry associations covering all the sectors of the ICT industry. These include Digital Equipment Corp(the world’s second largest IT company in the 80s and 90s), as CEO of PIKOM(National ICT association Malaysia) and CEO of tx123(Maybank associate company).
He has contributed significantly to the organisations he’s worked for through having good working knowledge of sales, business development, marketing and promotions, program management and general management. He has wide industry contacts and valuable insights on industry issues and trends.
He was listed as one of Malaysia’ top 50 local IT Personalities by the ComputerWorld Malaysia(December 1999).
